Zamalek Club entered into negotiations with Ahmed Hamdy, the former Montreal Canadian and Al-Ahly player, to contract with him during the winter transfer market this January on a free transfer deal.
Hamdy was one of the names nominated to support Zamalek during the last period, especially in the playmaker position, and negotiations between the two parties began some time ago.
Ahmed Hamdy left the Canadian team Montreal during the recent period, becoming a free player, which placed him in the accounts of the white team, as it would not cost the club’s treasury anything.
The 25-year-old player played 53 matches for the Montreal Canadian team, during which he scored 3 goals and assisted one goal, before he left his team last December.
Zamalek is seeking to strengthen its ranks with many deals, to compete in local and continental championships, after the suspension of its registration was lifted during the past days.
