HARDENBERG – Jong AZ also has its first practice matches of 2024 in its legs. The team of coach Jan Sierksma played on Saturday in a mini tournament in the east of the country against HHC Hardenberg and VV IJsselmeervogels. Both matches lasted 45 minutes.

HHC Hardenberg – Jong AZ 1-2 | Practice match
The Alkmaarders were too strong for home team HHC Hardenberg with 1-2. Jong AZ took the lead after ten minutes thanks to a goal by Loek Postma. He scored on a pass from Damienus Reverson. Shortly afterwards the margin was doubled when Nick Koster scored after preparatory work by Ricuenio Kewal. HHC – which was still a cup opponent of AZ 1 in mid-December – took action in the 39th minute, but was no longer able to jeopardize Jong AZ’s victory.

Score progression: 10. Postma 0-1, 15. Koster 0-2, 39. HHC Hardenberg 1-2.

Jong AZ – VV IJsselmeervogels 0-0 | Practice match
