Sport faces Mirassol, this Friday night (3), at 7pm, at the Mirassol Municipal Stadium, in the interior of São Paulo, for the 35th round of Série B of the Brasileirão.

The Red and Blacks are in third place, with 59 points, needing just seven more points in the remaining four games to secure access. The São Paulo team, on the other hand, keeps their dream of reaching the first division alive, being just three points behind the G4, in ninth, with 54 points.

Leão is seeking rehabilitation after seeing its streak of eight unbeaten games ended last week, when it lost 2-1 to Ceará, away from home. Mirassol wants to find its way back to winning ways, after two draws. However, coach Mozart’s team has not lost in five matches and has only failed to score points at home in three games this year.

Speaking of coaches, Sport’s coach, Enderson Moreira, must have a headache when it comes to choosing the team. Five important players – starters or immediate reserves – are banned from the match. In defense, Sabino and Alisson Cassiano have not yet recovered from their muscle injuries. Rafael Thyere and Chico will form the defense duo.

In midfield, the problems are the suspensions of midfielders Felipe, Fábio Matheus and Ronaldo Henrique. The tendency is for Fabinho to gain a new partner in the main team, with the home team’s silver medalist Pedro Martins.

The attack remains unchanged, but in the new model tested by Enderson, with Jorginho in the frame, Alan Ruiz and Edinho on the wings, and Diego Souza, as the reference man. Vagner Love should remain on the bench.

“Expectation of a great game. It’s the famous six-point game, so we need to win. However, they are a very qualified team, but so is ours, so I’m sure we’ll get a positive result there”, highlighted Pedro Martins.
