For the Bread and Brexit cycle, “The wind that caresses the grass” will be broadcast in prime time on Rai 5: the plot of the film with Cillian Murphy, Pádraic Delaney, Liam Cunningham

Ireland 1920. Damien joins his brother Teddy in the hard fight against British rule, giving up his profession as a doctor in England. After the victory and the signing of the treaty with the English, the Irish people are divided into two factions and the two brothers will find themselves on opposite sides.

This is the plot of the film “The wind that caresses the grass”, directed by Ken Loach, broadcast on Tuesday 7 November at 9.15pm on Rai 5 for the “Bread and Brexit” cycle. In the cast, Cillian Murphy, Pádraic Delaney, Liam Cunningham, Orla Fitzgerald, Mary O’Riordan.
