Tati Zaqui abandons funk and releases first gospel song

Tati Zaqui will release her first song in her gospel career this Friday (3/11). The singer changed gender after being the victim of a toxic relationship. The track “Me Guia” will be available on digital platforms from 12pm.

In the lyrics, Tati Zaqui reflects on a period of immaturity before connecting with religion. “Too immature to understand. / Too anxious and I don’t even know why. / Be still and bring peace, Father of all my being / […] Jesus comes to save me, empowers me to prepare myself”, she sings.

Singer Tati Zaqui decided to review her life choices after being the victim of physical and psychological attacks by Thomaz Costa. The funk singer, who faced delicate moments in her love life, said that she got closer to God to overcome the crises of her last relationship.

She attended lectures to understand how to deal with “self-love” and sought to connect with spirituality in this process. “I participated in some emotional intelligence lectures, which helped me a lot, and I got a lot closer to God.
