O Santos confirmed the date of the presidential election for December 9th, on a Saturday, after the end of the Brazilian Championship. Voting starts at 10 am and continues until 5 pm. Voting takes place in a hybrid format, either in person at Vila Belmiro or the member can choose to vote online until December 4th, Monday, via the website http://sociorei.com.
Candidates must register by November 19th, Tuesday, at 5 pm, at the club’s Social Secretariat. Members who want to pay off their debts also need to do so by December 4th. Remembering, in the month of October, the partners approved a change in the Statute.
According to the new text, only in this election, members with registration prior to November 6, 2021 (two years) will be able to vote. For the following, the term will be three years. This happened because last year there was a change in the Statute of the member’s term for voting from one year to three years, but the statute committee understood that anyone who had served one year until the change made last year could vote and this was approved.

GRADES:
1 – Pursuant to the provisions of article 25, item I, sole paragraph, of the Bylaws, voting will continue until 5:00 pm, followed by the determination of the result of the vote.
2 – The in-person voting process will be exclusively at Rua Princesa Isabel s/nº – Vila Belmiro – Santos/SP and members who opt for virtual voting must express their choice on their respective profiles on the website http://sociorei.com by the 4th (fourth) of December 2023, in accordance with article 9, sole paragraph of the Internal Regulations;
3 – The deadline for registration of tickets to compete in the election will be November 19, 2023 at 5:00 pm at the Club’s Social Secretariat, according to article 34 of the Bylaws;
4 – The requirements for the right to vote are defined in articles 27 and 101, sole paragraph of the Bylaws and article 7 of the Internal Regulations.
5 – The member, to exercise their right to vote, must present to the members of the receiving board their SANTOS social card and an official document, duly legalized, with an updated photograph, in order to allow the identification of the SANTOS member , in accordance with article 37 of the Bylaws;
6 – Members who wish to pay their late contributions in order to have the right to vote may do so until December 4, 2023, and from November 29 to December 4, 2023 the Social Secretariat will be open from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, in accordance with article 7, paragraph 3 of the Internal Regulations.
