Papão closes with left-back and steering wheel

In search of new athletes to form the 2024 men’s professional football squad, Paysandu Sport Club made two more signings official this Wednesday (6). Left-back Geferson and midfielder Netinho will wear the two-tone shirt next season.

Geferson played in Bulgaria for the last seven seasons, a period in which he acquired extensive experience and skills, with more than 150 matches played. “I am very honored, happy and motivated to now be part of this great club that is Paysandu, the biggest champion in the Amazon. I will do my best to, together with my teammates, achieve greater things in 2024”, highlighted the player.

Netinho also promises to do his best to achieve the club’s main objective next year. “I’m very happy to have agreed with this new club, happy with the project they presented to me. I believe we will look for great things this year and, God willing, we will put Paysandu in Série A again. I’m looking forward to training with my teammates, being close to this beautiful crowd and, as I said, looking for great things,” he said.

In addition to Geferson and Netinho, goalkeepers Claudio Vitor, Diogo Silva, Gabriel Bernard and Matheus Nogueira, defenders Lucas Maia, Naylhor, Paulão and Wanderson, right-back Edílson, midfielder João Vieira, midfielders Juninho and Robinho and strikers Hyuri, Roger and Vinícius Leite.

Paysandu’s management remains in the market and can announce new hires at any time.
