Current two-time Brazilian champion, Palmeiras launched, this Friday morning, its new uniforms for the 2024 season. Puma, a supplier of sporting equipment for alviverde, released images of the São Paulo team’s home and away uniforms, which are a celebration of the club’s 110th anniversary.
The model’s debut will be in the classic against Santos, next Sunday, at 6pm (Brasília time), at Allianz Parque, in the third round of the Campeonato Paulista.
— In such an important year for Palmeiras fans, we are very happy to launch new shirts that celebrate the club’s tradition. Let’s work together to make this another year full of achievements, transforming this collection into another victory for the partnership between Palmeiras and Puma — said Leila Pereira, president of Palmeiras.
The uniforms feature three historical emblems of Palmeiras, in reference to the 110 years that will be completed in 2024. The Palestra Italia shield, in addition to the Cruz de Savoia and the P, the first shield to reflect the change of the team’s name to Palmeiras, will be printed in the design of the new shirt.
The home shirt arrives in green, with a white collar and sleeve finishing. The away uniform, traditionally white, has a collar and sleeves in green. Player logos, numbers and names are highlighted in gold.
Important players from the club in recent years participated in the campaign to launch the shirts. Gustavo Gómez, Gabriel Menino, Murilo, Marcos Rocha and Richard Ríos were the models to promote the new uniform.
The new Palmeiras shirts will be on sale from this Friday, January 26th. The “player” model will be sold for R$499.90, the fan model, both male and female, for R$369.90, and the children’s model for R$329.90. The “stadium” model, the cheapest option for fans, will be sold for R$179.90.
