A source inside Zamalek Club revealed that the White Team is close to finalizing the contract deal with Yasser Hamad, defender of the Palestine national team, during the winter transfer market this January, to strengthen the ranks of the White Castle’s back line.
Zamalek has been monitoring Palestinian defender Yasser Hamad for some time, as he entered the White Team’s accounts to strengthen the defense line.
Zamalek officials closely followed the player and reviewed his statistics, entering into official negotiations to include him, as the player welcomed the move to the White Castle.
There is an initial agreement between the player and the Zamalek management regarding his transfer to the white team, and some simple steps remain before the deal is officially settled.
If Zamalek succeeds in completing the contract with Palestinian defender Yasser Hamad, who previously played in Egypt, with Al-Masry Club of Port Said, he will be registered as a local player, according to the regulations of the Egyptian Football Association.
Yasser Hamad is currently in the camp of the Palestine national team, participating in the Asian Nations Cup, after the Al-Fedayi battalion qualified for the round of 16 of the competition.
