Meghan Markle is missing from the official Invictus Games schedule

Meghan Markle’s name has reportedly been removed from the official Invictus Games schedule, sparking confusion among royal watchers.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, is expected to join her husband Prince Harry in Dusseldorf, Germany sometime next week, days after the event officially kicks off on September 9.

Meghan was originally scheduled to host a segment alongside German TV presenter Hadnet Tesfai at the closing ceremony on September 16, Times of Londonreported in August.

But that information, according to the German press, has since been deleted from the official Invictus Games website, and only Tesfai is listed as the host.

It comes amid reports circulating about the state of the Sussexes’ marriage, with the parents-of-two embroiled in rumors that they have taken a “break”.

Most recently, the couple were spotted in the box at Beyonce’s concert in Los Angeles at the weekend, with commentators pointing out how Harry looked “sour” while Meghan danced the night away.

Furthermore, Meghan will not join Harry in London on Thursday local time, where the Duke of Sussex is due to attend the WellChild Awards, which also falls on the anniversary of the Queen’s death.

Meghan, who has not been in London since the Queen’s funeral, has already attended the WellChild event with her husband in 2018 and 2019.

It comes after reports emerged in late August that Harry was eager to meet King Charles and Prince William for “peace talks”, and Harry is expected to stop off in the UK again on September 17 on his way home to the US.

But according to the American website day beast, Charles and William were against the idea.

“Charles won’t see Harry, and he won’t see William either. No way. He feels completely betrayed by what Harry wrote about him in the book and said about him on Netflix,” a source close to the Prince of Wales told the publication.

Harry has not seen his father since the coronation in May, and even then, it was reported that he did not spend time with Charles or his brother Prince William during the short trip.

Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014 for injured servicemen and women.
