ME patients do not feel taken seriously by UWV: ‘Limitations not recognized’

‘I’m tired sometimes too, they say’

At the beginning of this month, RTL Nieuws spoke with ME patients who often feel misunderstood. ‘I also get tired sometimes’, or ‘I should go and talk to a psychologist’. These are responses that every ME patient has heard – including from doctors.

For example, Judith (photo) said that she has lost loved ones due to her illness. “People I didn’t expect it from, even family members, have dropped me. Obviously because they think it’s nonsense.” You can read the whole story here.
