Dean Huijsen is very happy after his debut for Juventus. The eighteen-year-old defender speaks of a dream evening after his substitute appearance on Sunday in the top match against AC Milan (0-1).
“This is an evening I dreamed of as a child. I will remember this evening for the rest of my life,” Huijsen wrote on Monday. Instagram.
“It is impossible to describe the emotions I feel now after wearing such an important shirt and being rewarded for the hard work. I would like to thank my family and all the people at Juventus for their support. This is just the beginning .”
Huijsen is the son of Donny Huijsen, who was also known as a great talent and played a match for Ajax in 1993. He then played for Go Ahead Eagles, Haarlem, AZ and MVV. The former striker moved to Spain after his career.
Dean Huijsen played in Spain as a youth player for Málaga and switched to Juventus in mid-2021. Huijsen usually plays in the under-19 team of the Italian top club.

Afterwards, trainer Massimiliano Allegri was full of praise for Huijsen, who came on fifteen minutes before the end with a 0-1 lead at San Siro. “I’m happy for him that he could make his debut,” the coach told Italian media.
