Girona, the biggest sensation in the Spanish Championship, achieved an incredible victory this Sunday (10/22), in the tenth round of the competition: 5-2 at bottom side Almería. The game was at their home stadium, Montilivi, in Girona. But the Catalan team came from behind, leading 2-0, goals from Brazilian Leo Batistão, formerly of Santos. At 35, in a controversial move, Leo Batistão lost the ball, apparently suffering a foul. However, the referee ordered it to continue and the ball reached Iván Martín, who reduced the difference. For three minutes, VAR analyzed the move and confirmed the goal.

To the delight of the almost 13 thousand fans who almost filled Montilivi, the equalizer came in the next attack when Dutchman Daley Blind found Ukrainian Dovbyk. He received it on the left and equalized with a crossed shot.
