“We are excited to let you know that in early December we will be releasing the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto,” announced Rockstar Games founder Sam Houser. Images of GTA 6 were leaked last year, in one of the biggest hacks in the history of the video game industry, after Rockstar Games announced that the game was in development.
The first edition of GTA was published in 1997 and the most recent version, Grand Theft Auto V, has sold more than 185 million copies since its release in 2013. New York-based Rockstar Games is owned by the industry giant Take-Two Interactive Software.
