Grêmio beats Brasil-RS away from home and scores second victory at Gaúcho

For the third of Gaucho Championshipo Guild outside the house or Brasil de Pelotas 1-0, this Sunday (21), at the Bento da Silva Freitas Stadium. The only goal of the duel was scored by striker André Henrique in the final stage.

With the result, the team led by Renato Gaúcho occupies third place in the State, with six points, one less than the leader International. Brasil-RS is in 10th place, with two points, one more than the teams in the relegation zone (Santa Cruz-RS and Guarany).

In the next round, Grêmio hosts second-placed Juventude, with whom they are tied on points, on Wednesday, at 9:30 pm (Brasília time). Brasil de Pelotas faces Caxias on the same day and time, at the Centenário Stadium.

For the duel in Pelotas, the Grêmio coach spared several starters and chose a mixed formation, giving chances to players who didn’t play so often.

In the first half, the teams created few scoring chances and the game went into halftime tied 0-0.

Grêmio opened the scoring 19 minutes into the second half. After a play on the left, Villasanti invaded the area and crossed for André to just push it into the back of the net.
