Rome, 23 October 2023 – A 17-year-old boy from Rome is passed away on Friday afternoon and since then no one has heard from him again. His phone has also been turned off for days. The parents raised the alarm, through a social appeal and the report to the police forces involved in the searches. Mother Claudia Persia published the photo and description of the boy on Facebook: his name is Edoardo Camillihas been missing in Rome since 20 October “thin build, brown hair, green eyes, small light mole on the right cheek”, the description of the clothing he was wearing and the telephone to call.

“Edoardo – his aunt Alessandra tells journalists – had gone to school, my sister, his mother, had gone to get him and brought him home, in Testaccio. Then in the afternoon he went out for reach out to a friend in the Ponte Mammolo area, where he never arrived. He was traveling by public transport, there was a strike that day and perhaps he had problems. But he didn’t even show up to his parents, who he was supposed to meet after his friend for some errands. Since then the phone is turned off and we never heard from him again.” Edoardo Camilli, a quiet boy, never in trouble, attended hairdressing school. The day he disappeared he was wearing a gray sweater and black trousers.
