A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security, Report informs.
The document was signed by Chairman of the CBA Taleh Kazimov and Head of the State Service Ilgar Musayev.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to exchange information between the two organizations on information security and cybersecurity incidents in financial markets, cyberattacks and other targeted attack attempts, and to take preventive measures.
The document also provides for joint activities to create and accredit the Financial Sector Computer Emergency Response Team (FinCERT).
The signing ceremony took place within the first Cyberfest cyber festival in Azerbaijan, taking place as part of the “Year of Heydar Aliyev.”
