Bragantino beats Corinthians and leaves leaders separated by one point

O Red Bull Bragantino won the Corinthians 1-0 today, at the Nabi Abi Chedid Stadium, in the 32nd round of the Brazilian Championship. The goal (a great goal) was scored by Helinho, in the first half. The championship, which used to look decided, now has the top three separated by just one point.

Bragantino reached 58 points and is third, one behind leader Botafogo, but with one game more. Palmeiras has the same 59 and is the runner-up for having fewer victories. But Abel’s team has two more games compared to the Cariocas.

In the 34th round, Bragantino will have a direct confrontation with Botafogo at home. The top three are separated by one point.
