Azerbaijan, Tajikistan intensifying trade relations

The Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), Yusif Abdullayev, had a meeting with the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan, Jamshed Dzhumakhonzoda, Report informs, referring to AZPROMO.

At the meeting, Abdullayev gave information about the activities of the agency and the work done within the framework of attracting non-oil investments to the country’s economy. The parties shared their views on the importance of the event themed “SPECA Countries Exhibition: Regional Cooperation for Sustainable Development,” which was held at the initiative of Azerbaijan within SPECA Week.

Dzumakhonzoda stated that the organization he represents is the largest organization in Tajikistan, gave detailed information about the Chamber, and talked about the pending changes to the law regulating the Chamber’s activities.

The meeting also discussed the intensification of trade relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
