Azerbaijan sends another humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Another humanitarian aid consisting of electrical equipment has today been sent from Azerbaijan to Ukraine.

Report informs that the aid was dispatched from the territory of Sumgait Technology Park LLC.

Upon the order of President Ilham Aliyev dated July 17, 2023, the cargo supplied by the Ministry of Energy includes more than 555,000 meters of electric cables and wires. The cargo carried by 14 trucks is being sent to support the restoration of sustainable electricity supply to the war-affected areas in Ukraine.

It is planned to send the next parts of the aid, which is organized on the basis of applications received from Ukraine, with a total value of $7.6 million.

The total amount of humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine in connection with the crisis, including support for recovery and reconstruction works, is more than $33 million.
