The Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Samad Bashirli, met with the delegation led by the head of the mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for Azerbaijan, Anna Bordo, Report informs, citing the ministry.
Giving information about the economy of Azerbaijan, the work done within the framework of the “2022-2026 socio-economic development strategy,” concessions, and incentives applied in the territories freed from occupation, Bashirli emphasized that in the framework of cooperation with international financial institutions, including the IMF, importance is attached to the promotion of progressive experience and technological innovations in Azerbaijan.
Anna Bordo said that mutual relations with Azerbaijan are developing and shared her views on partnership.
The parties discussed the prospects for the medium-term period, the development directions of the energy sector, recent reforms in the field of tax policy and administration, planned measures for the next period, and the attraction of investments to the liberated territories.
