Azerbaijan, Estonia discuss prospects for interparliamentary cooperation

A meeting was convened with members of the Estonia-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group at the Estonian Parliament (Riigikogu).

During the gathering, Chairman of the friendship group from Estonia Riina Solman engaged in discussions with Azerbaijani Ambassador Anar Maharramov regarding the current state and future prospects of interparliamentary ties.

Riina Solman noted that Estonia has consistently supported Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity both during and after the conflict. She expressed Estonia’s interest in developing relations with Azerbaijan in all domains.

Highlighting the positive momentum in interparliamentary ties over the past years, Anar Maharramov expressed confidence that such a tendency would continue to strengthen in the future. The ambassador also shed light on the large-scale events hosted in Azerbaijan, both past and upcoming, as well as the swift restoration and reconstruction efforts underway in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories.
