Ana Hickmann’s ex-husband asks for presenter’s arrest for parental alienation

Ana Hickmann’s ex-husband, Alexandre Correa, requested this Wednesday (3), through his lawyers, the presenter’s arrest within 24 hours for parental alienation.

In a document to the judge of the Family and Succession Court of the Itu court, in São Paulo, Alexandre Correa states that Ana Hickmann refused to hand over the couple’s son to his paternal grandparents so that the child could spend the vacation period with his father .

According to the document, it was determined that the son would remain with his father between the 3rd and 10th of December, but the presenter would have allowed “only a quick meeting for a snack in the late afternoon, claiming that he was going to the beach with friends and that he would take the youngest together.”

“In view of all this, and the crimes repeatedly committed, there is no other way out for the Applicant [Alexandre Correa] otherwise resort again to the Judiciary so that the Defendant complies with the Law and allows coexistence between father and son as has already been determined by the Court, as well as for the arrest to occur in the act within a period of 24 hours”, says the document.

Correa’s lawyers are also asking for police reinforcement for the model’s arrest, “in view of the fact that she refuses to hand over her son”.

In December last year, the judge, through the Itu Judicial Center for Conflict Resolution and Citizenship, ordered the presence of Ana Hickmann and Alexandre Correa at a “parents workshop” via videoconference on January 31st.

In a statement, presenter Ana Hickmann’s advisor said that “Court decision determined that Alexandre Hickmann Correa’s vacation period with his father would be between January 3rd and 10th, if nothing was previously scheduled. Taking into account that Ana Hickmann’s vacation was previously scheduled between the 3rd and 7th of January, it was then agreed between Ana Hickmann and Alexandre Correa’s lawyers, Dr. Guilherme Valdetaro and Dr. Diva Carla Bueno Nogueira, respectively, by telephone, on 12/22, the period was transferred to January 9th to 17th.

Remember the case

In November 2023, Ana Hickmann filed a police report, accusing her husband, Alexandre Correa, of assault at the family home in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo.

To the police, she reported that she was talking to her 10-year-old son in the kitchen when Alexandre overheard, didn’t like the content of the conversation and started an argument with the presenter. The child, frightened, would have run out of the room.

According to the police report, Alexandre pushed his wife against the wall and threatened to headbutt her – an accusation he denied on social media.

When trying to get his cell phone, which was on a table, Alexandre closed the kitchen door, hitting Ana Hickmann in the arm. At that moment, according to the bulletin, the presenter locked her husband out of the room. That’s when she managed to call the police. When the Military Police arrived, Alexandre was no longer there.

At the police station, when giving a statement and registering the police report, Hickmann refused the protective measures provided for in the Maria de Penha Law.

In a statement, Ana Hickmann’s advisor confirmed the disagreement between the presenter and her husband.

“After a disagreement between Alexandre Correa and Ana Hickmann last Saturday (11), the Military Police were called and the presenter was taken to the Police District to clarify the facts. Through her press office, Ana Hickmann thanks her fans for their affection and solidarity and informs that she is at home, well and fortunately did not suffer any major consequences to her physical integrity.”

The next day, Alexandre Correa used social media to comment on the case. He also confirmed the disagreement, but denied having headbutted his wife. The businessman also apologized to his family.

“Indeed, on yesterday’s date [sábado (11)], I had a disagreement with my wife, an absolutely isolated situation, which did not generate any major consequences. I would also like to clarify that I never head-butted her, as is untruely being linked (sic) in the press, and that everything will be duly clarified at the appropriate time”, wrote Alexandre on social media.

“I take this opportunity to apologize to my entire family for what happened. It’s been 25 years of marriage, without any occurrence of this nature. I have always served Ana as her agent, with all zeal, affection and respect, just as I treat the 7 women I work with in my office”, he added.
