Ali Maaloul was left out of the Tunisia squad against Mauritania in a friendly match

Munther Al-Kabir, the national team’s coach, announced Tunisiaannounced the official formation of the Carthage Eagles team to face Mauritania in a friendly match, in the match that brings together the two teams this evening, Cairo time, as part of the teams’ preparation for the African Cup of Nations, which begins in Côte d’Ivoire on January 13th.

The match was supposed to be held at 7:30 pm, and the Tunisian Football Federation confirmed that due to the delay in the arrival of the plane carrying the Mauritania national team from Tabarka to Tunisia, it was decided to postpone the kick-off of the match for 60 minutes, so that the kick-off became at 8:30 pm.

The Tunisia national team is also preparing to face Cape Verde in a friendly match, in preparation for the 2023 African Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Côte d’Ivoire during the period from January 13 to February 11.

The Cape Verde national team is in the second group of the 2023 African Cup of Nations, alongside our Egyptian national team, Ghana and Mozambique..
