ADO Den Haag has failed to take the lead in the first division. A win over Jong Ajax would have been enough to grab first place in the rankings, but coach Darije Kalezic’s team played an inglorious draw in Amsterdam: 0-0.

At Jong Ajax, Ahmetcan Kaplan made his first minutes in the shirt of the Amsterdam team. The defender was acquired from Trabzonspor for almost ten million euros last summer. Injuries kept him sidelined all this time.

The draw means Roda JC and Willem II remain joint leaders in the Kitchen Champion Division.

Also 0-0 in Groningen

The former Premier League players FC Groningen and FC Emmen proved that a goalless draw can also be spectacular. There were no goals in the Euroborg, but there was plenty to watch.

In the 27th minute, Groningen had a huge chance to score the opening goal. Romano Postema’s shot hit the crossbar, after which an old-fashioned pinball situation ensued. The ball flew back and forth, but did not end up in the goal.

Despite the fact that Groningen played the better football, Emmen had better opportunities. Just before half time, Lucas Bernadou was able to shoot freely on goal, but his effort was stopped by Hidde Jurjus.

After the break, Groningen had more chances. Thom van Bergen came close to scoring in injury time, but Mike te Wierik was in the right place and prevented a defeat for Emmen.

Spectacle in Eindhoven

A spectacular Eindhoven derby between Jong PSV and FC Eindhoven ended in 4-3. Farouq Limouri headed Eindhoven into the lead in the 31st minute. In extra time of the first half, Jesper Uneken, who has never scored in professional football, equalized.

After the break, Uneken immediately scored his second. The celebration was not over for the 19-year-old striker, as in the seventieth minute he extended a corner towards the goal, completing his hat-trick.

Eindhoven did not let itself be defeated and fought back very quickly. Tibo Persyn and Sven Simons put the visitors at 3-3. Ozan Kökçü completed the party for Eindhoven with the 4-3. The visitors’ three goals came within six minutes.

Oss wins again

At the start of the match against TOP Oss, Jong FC Utrecht gave a course on how not to defend. A failed header back at the keeper could not be saved and Joshua Zimmerman took advantage. In the extra time of the second half, Maxim van Peer made it 2-0, making the second victory of the season for Oss a fact.

Jong AZ managed to win 3-0 against De Graafschap. In the 54th minute, Mexx Meerdink used a penalty. Three minutes later Jayden Addai made it 2-0. In the final minutes Damienus Reverson scored the 3-0.

Helmond Sport and FC Dordrecht drew 1-1. Mohamed Mallahi shot the home club to 1-0 just before half time. Immediately after halftime, Ilias Bronkhorst equalized from a corner.
