ADB’s next annual meeting to be held in Georgia

The annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will be held in Georgia on May 2-5, 2024, Report informs via Georgian media.

Organizational issues were discussed at a meeting in the government office chaired by Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili.

The ADB meeting will be held in Georgia for the first time.

The 57th annual forum will be attended by about 4,000 participants – delegations from 68 member countries, representatives of international financial institutions, the private sector, and civil society.

ADB has been cooperating with Georgia since 2007. The total amount of sovereign and non-sovereign loans issued by the bank to the country is $3.9 billion.
