It’s Blue Monday, or the most depressing day of the year. To cheer you up a bit today, we have listed some tips so that you don’t even have time to sit down and give up. What do you mean, ‘Blue Monday’?
1. Follow sailing races
There are several races going on right now, as the Global Solo Challengeof Ocean Globe Race and the World ARC 2024. It is always nice to update yourself about the ins and outs of the competitions. Take a look at the trackers or read the latest news updates on the races’ sites and social media channels.
2. Watch a sailing movie
Are you sitting on the couch at home and just can’t remember? Then go watch a sailing movie! For example, check whether you All Is Lost, Between Home, Maidentrip, The Mercy of Wind have in your cupboard or can be found online. Do you have Netflix? Then you can True Spirit to turn on. This film tells the story of a determined Australian teenager chasing her dreams. She faces her fears as she becomes the youngest person to sail solo around the world.
3. Plan sailing competitions and trips for this year
Are you feeling down? Then make plans for the coming sailing season. Which competitions do you want to participate in? Which waters do you want to sail? Or which one destination Do you really need to check it off your list this year? Once you think about this, you will have a big smile on your face again.
4. Read the stories of our bloggers

Who doesn’t get a heart beat faster from luxury sailing yachts? In any case, there will be three boats on display on boat Düsseldorf, where you can dream away.
